The first time you mount pegs on the fork, you need a longer axle. Measure from the outside of one fork dropout to the outside of the other, then add about 2.5 cm. For pegs on both sides, add another 1.5 cm.

Note: Some forks are not peg-ready. On those you need spacers — and a longer axle.

Some forks are not designed for pegs. If you still want to run pegs, you need spacers and a longer axle.

Rear pegs also need a longer axle the first time you install them. Measure between the outside of the dropouts and add about 2.5 cm. For pegs on both sides, add another 1.5 cm — roughly 4 cm extra in total.

Note: Some decks are not peg-ready either. You will need spacers and a longer axle.
