Product information:
NKD has launched their most energetic Pro Scooter, with lots of power and juice to really turn the scooter market around! If you love slick stunts and neat spins, this NKD Turbine scooter is an obvious choice for you. Whether you are into street riding or ramps and rails in a skating park.
The NKD Turbine is a Pro Scooter made of the highest quality of aluminum. Since there is only a limited number of scooters made from this aluminum type. What makes this aluminum type so prestigious, is that it is incredibly strong and light at the same time, which is perfect for a quality scooter design.
In addition, the NKD Turbine 3D is designed in a single one-piece milling design. This applies to both the deck and the fork and contributes to a more robust and accurate design of a scooter. Even without the use of welds. This is especially clever during hard landings and wild tricks, where due to the 3D design and milling, you will experience the impressive strength and high quality of the NKD Turbine scooter.
These NKD Turbine Pro Scooters are mounted with NKD's Hollow Air wheels, where the core material, like the scooter, is made of aluminum. The wheels are designed in a special way with holes in the metal, as this together with the material gives durable and lightweight wheels.
Besides that, in order to lessen the weight further, NKD Turbine has some special cuts by the neck, headtube and the fork - as well as NKD's sleek signature cut in the middle of the deck. With these cuts and the special aluminum material, you get an easy, durable and strong scooter that can ride around the streets and be used for insane stunts in skating parks.
The NKD Turbine scooter has also been through a long list of tests, carried out by NKD's many professional team riders, who all recommend this scooter to scooter-loving people regardless of their ability and skills on scooters. Through these various tests, during the design phase, NKD Turbine obtained a CE approval that puts the final mark on the excellent quality of this scooter.
As a nice bonus, it should be mentioned that NKD's pro team rider, Mathias Villers, used this scooter at the recent FISE in Montpellier.
Doesn’t get any cooler than that!

Size guide for Pro / Freestyle Scooters
The size of your scooter plays a big role in how you ride and how much you can get out of your setup.
The right
height provides better control, balance, and comfort - and makes it easier to learn new tricks.
Personal preference and style mean everything
Since the choice of height largely depends on personal preferences and riding style, there is no one perfect
size that fits everyone.
However, we have created a guiding size chart based on the user's height and
a beginner level,
where the rider has not yet specialized in street or park riding.
The Broomstick Method - the safe way to find the right height
If you want to be completely sure that your scooter has the optimal height, we recommend the “broomstick method”:
- Hold a broomstick horizontally in the air.
- Place it at the height where you prefer the handlebars when standing on the scooter (typically around hip height).
- Measure from the broomstick down to the floor.
- Add approx. 5 cm - this corresponds to the height you're raised above the ground when standing on the scooter.
Example: 30.71" (broomstick to floor) + 1.97" = 32.68" optimal total height
Freestyle scooters cannot be height-adjusted
Because freestyle scooters are used for tricks and hard landings, they are built as a fixed and strong
construction without adjustment mechanisms.
Adjustable handlebars would compromise durability and
safety.
For all complete scooters in our webshop, you will therefore find the total height listed in the specifications - measured from the ground to the top of the handlebars.
Street vs. Park - what should you choose?
Freestyle scooters are often divided into two styles:
| Riding Style | Preferred Height | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Park | Closer to the hips | For quick rotations and lightness |
| Street | Closer to the navel | For stability and control during grinds and drops |
Summary - how to choose correctly:
- User height + preference = starting point
- Use the broomstick method for accurate measurement
- Check the total height in the product specifications
- Choose lower bars for park / higher bars for street
